Founder and CEO

Mark Robertson is founder and CEO of Capstone Resource Group, LLC.
Mark is currently pursuing his Executive MBA at the Georgia Institute of Technology with a concentration in Management of Technology, graduating in December 2011, upon completion of International Academic Residency in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hong Kong) and Entrepreneur Venture Project.
As one of his academic achievements, Mark and team earned 1st place in the 2011 Executive MBA Business Plan competition.
In addition, Mark currently serves as Chair of the Executive MBA Alumni Committee and is a participating member on the EMBA Marketing Committee.
Previously, Mark served as vice president of Information Technology at Purchasing Power, having joined the company in 2007. He leveraged an extensive technology background to oversee the comprehensive IT operations at Purchasing Power, including eCommerce application development, server and network infrastructure, data security, and quality assurance.
While at Purchasing Power, Mark was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine’s 2008 “Hot 100” addition, which ranked Purchasing Power 50th out of the Top 100 fastest growing small/medium sized companies in North America.
Prior to joining Purchasing Power, Mark spent nearly twenty years at Equifax, Inc. where he was instrumental in the growth and development of its Credit Marketing Services (CMS) startup division. Mark contributed his vision, experience and energy to help grow CMS to a $160 million business. Prior to that, he held technology and executive management positions at Equifax, where he managed IT resources for the software development and support of Oracle Financial Applications, as well as Operational and Back Office systems.
Mark is also very active in community service, lending his time and support to Compassion in Action and Unite, organizations that help provide food, clothing, and financial support to families in need. Mark also contributes his support to Junior Achievement and Youth Motivation Day, which mentors and encourages students to go to college and pursue their dreams.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Alabama and is currently working fulltime on his Executive MBA at Georgia Tech.
